In 2016 a collaboration between independent producer Katie Davis, WAMU 88.5, NPR, Corporation for Public Broadcasting and Association of Independents in Radio produced a radio series about land: Who has it, who wants it, and what happens when it starts to change hands. Who gets to tell stories about this? People who live and work in the Southeast D.C. neighborhood. The results? Anacostia Unmapped had the highest impact of local productions with more than 15 million gross impressions.
